Rainbow Weavings is a one-woman, home-based jewelry business located in the Texas Hill Country that has been in existence since 1985. I specialize in handcrafting and selling miniature weavings that can be worn as earrings or pendants. Each earring is started with a straight piece of wire. The wire is spun into a coil, stretched, cut and shaped by hand to form each frame or "loom." Each frame is then woven by hand into 3 to 6 layers, each layer completed separately. The use of pure silk thread produces a lovely iridescent sheen, and metallic threads are used to add a bit of sparkle This Unique, Colorful and Light Jewelry will invite many compliments!
